PROGRAM CHANGES

Two of the Saturday concerts have been cancelled due to the air traffic problems caused by volcanic ash. Magnus Lindgren Batucada Jazz and Nils Landgren Funk Unit is replaced by Hans Backenroth with Friends and Blue House Jazz Orchestra respectively.

Swedish Jazz Celebration is taking place in Stockholm 2010. This will be a fun festival with several fantastic musicians! Our desire is to inspire and stimulate audience and musicians alike with this big manifestation of Swedish jazz. Our definition of jazz is wide – anything from traditional jazz to new club music and other improvisational music verging on art music.

You are very welcome to this year’s festival where you will experience new things and new encounters!

Jazz Celebration 2010 is organized by Concerts Sweden, Svensk Musik (Swedish Music Information Centre), Swedish Radio P2 and Stockholm’s Konserthus, in collaboration with Jazzclub Fasching, Kulturhuset Stockholm and The Royal College of music in Stockholm.
