Subscriptions via RSS

The website of the Swedish Music Information Centre provides news in Rich document format Site Summary (RSS). RSS is a standard format for news headlines and summaries.

To keep you up-to-date with our news, you need a special software to download the news. There are lots to choose from and most of them are free. We can recommend FeedReader for PCs, which is the software we have chosen to use.

The software all work slightly differently, but basically they download data from an RSS source and notify you when something new has come. That way, you can always keep on top of the latest news. In FeedReader and many other softwares, you can click on the headings to read the whole news article at www.mic.se. You’ll find links to other RSS softwares below.

The following features are reported in our RSS flow from our website:

  • News about new printed music in the classical catalogue
  • Information about new works deposited at the Swedish Music Information Centre
  • New releases from Edition Suecia
  • New CDs in the Swedish Music Shop

Save the following addresses in the software to download news from the Swedish Music Information Centre.
