FACE THE MUSIC

Join us and face the music of 2010 - with the festival DoubleDouble!

Double is a musical term, implying musical variations. We have applied this term to our concert series DoubleDouble, a year-long festival to inaugurate the new decade. Each participating country contributes several musical selfportraits at the festival venue - the lovely theatre of the Italian Cultural Institute.

Celebrate the power of music to transcend the borders of genre and ethnicity through DoubleDouble – a festival of and with Swedish, French, Italian, German and Romanian composers and ensembles. The initiative has been taken by the French Institute, the Italian Cultural Institute, Goethe-Institut Stockholm, Länsmusiken i Stockholm and Swedish Music Information Centre.
